As we developed the line of Tech-Line ball plugging supplies, striving for top quality was always our focus. We were the first company in the industry to formulate colors for plug matching from pigments, instead of dyes, to provide a true color match. With the introduction of HR Hardener in the early 1990's, we were also the first company to create an epoxy ball plug for heat-sensitive plugging jobs. These developments, and others, are evidence of our commitment to providing high performance products to the pro shop professional.
Lane maintenance was a large part of our business as well over years, but we kept this confidential because our products were packaged and branded for sale by other companies. In 2009, we began developing new lane care products to be branded and sold through Tech-Line. This includes lane conditioners, lane cleaners, approach treatments, and more.
Behind the scenes, we have also been heavily involved in the production of high performance bowling ball cores. Over the past 20+ years, literally millions of our cores have been driving some of the best-selling balls in the industry. In 2007, one of our largest customers announced their decision to move production outside the USA. In an effort to preserve jobs for our employees in Muskegon, Michigan, we decided to begin research and development on our own bowling ball line. In late 2008, this mission was accomplished and we launched the MOTIV bowling ball brand, featuring revolutionary NeoMark Coverstock Graphics (Patent Pending). The official consumer website for MOTIV is http://motivbowling.com/.
As always, our focus with Tech-Line and MOTIV products is to strive for outstanding quality and the highest level of performance. We back this up with excellent customer service and a 100% satisfaction guarantee to our pro shop and bowling center customers. We are able to do this because we have incredibly high confidence in our products.
